My beautiful lovely friend, what can I say apart from you we’re the most amazing friend I could of asked for , you are forever in my thoughts miss are daily texts and chats about any and everything and your beautiful laugh and smile , but every time I see I rainbow I know that you are their , this is because in the last few weeks when we were going to work or coming home we kept seeing them , you will be forever locked in my heart , much loved and deeply missed all my love Debbie summers 💜💜

I am honoured and so lucky to call Elaine "my best friend". She was the most amazing person I have met, always there for me and everyone she knew. We had some amazing times, nights out, holidays, spa days, and afternoon tea days. We also had a lot of sad days too, but we always got through them together, laughing together at the end. I am going to miss our nightly phone calls,we could chat for ever. Elaine was loved by everyone she met, she cared about everyone, and was so very kind. She was by my side as my bridesmaid, & then again holding my hand both times I gave birth and would not have got through those difficult times with her. I miss her so very much, loved her so very much. I never dreamt that this would happen, always thought we would grow old together. My love and thoughts are with Mark, Emma and all the rest of her lovely family. Xxxx

I am so honoured and blessed to have been a part of Elaine’s life. As ever, always helping me through tough times and foregoing her fears to do so. She was a wonderful boss and cared greatly about ever member of her team. I am so very proud and honoured to have been the friend who in her words “always made her laugh” - that was most certainly my job and one which warmed my heart to watch. Her laugh was very infectious and never could we look at one another once she started as we would never stop. I was proud to call Elaine My friend, we originally met through our Children at school. We laughed , we cried and she always knew what to say ! I wish I knew what to say. I'm so lucky to have met Elaine nearly 30 years ago when she became my boss for the first time. We worked together another two times. She was a boss that cared about her staff, a very rare quality. She is irreplaceable. As a friend, she always knew what to say and was a great listener. I will miss her so much. Elaine was one of my very favourite people. Her loveliness shone from her, and her kindness was limitless. I will remember her humour, her incredibly contagious laughter and her genuine compassion for others. She showed such open love and affection. She was a wonderful friend. I miss her terribly. Elaine became my friend when we moved to Tadcaster and knew no one except my family. She stayed in my heart ever since. She was so easy to love. I will miss her more than words can describe and my heart breaks for her family who have suffered so much over recent years. I am trying to remember her by her laughter and her sparkling eyes. She was just lovely, inside and out.

Thinking Elaines family so much. She was the kindest person and always spoke of her family with so much love. I first met her through Brownies when my now nearly 14 year old went. She was fantastic with the little ones and Isabella loved her. She is about to leave the guides this summer and go on to be a young leader. I hope she can be as kind and helpful as Elaine was to her.

When I first met Elaine I was just struck by how lovely she was. And as long as I knew her, she was always this way. She was one of those rare people who simply oozed love and kindness. Nothing else. I only had known Elaine for a short time , but she truly made an impact on me and feel blessed to call her a friend, I have never worked for someone who was so concerned for the well-being of her team and she was totally loved by all in her team. So many people at the service today. It just shows how many people’s lives were touched by Elaine. Met Elaine in 2002 when she was my boss. Soon became my friend and a wonderful counsellor. A truly strong inspirational person who put others before herself. My thoughts are with Mark Emma and Elaine’s family . A moving service. Xx
